How to use
1. Choose how many dice and how many sides
Below the dice, move the “Number of dice” slider to pick from 1 to 100. For ordinary dice, leave “Sides” as it is (6-sided). For tabletop RPGs, switch to 20-sided or whatever you need.
On the right, move the “Number of dice” slider to pick from 1 to 100. For ordinary dice, leave “Sides” as it is (6-sided). For tabletop RPGs, switch to 20-sided or whatever you need.
2. Roll
Tap “Roll” below the dice, or drag your finger across the table to throw them. When they stop rolling, the total and each die appear on top of the table (with 11 or more dice, the count for each face too). Close it with × or by tapping the table; each roll is also kept in “Past rolls” further down.
Click “Roll” on the left, or drag across the table to throw the dice. When they stop rolling, the total and each die appear on top of the table (with 11 or more dice, the count for each face too). Close it with × or by clicking the table; each roll is also kept in “Past rolls” on the right.
3. Go full screen for everyone to see
Turn on sound effects with the speaker button at the top right of the dice (they start off), then go full screen with the button next to it. Only the dice are shown, large, so everyone can watch as you tap “Roll”.

Good to know before you start
- If you use it for bets involving money, follow the rules of the event and the law.
- You can’t type in dice notation like “3d6+2”, or roll 6-sided and 20-sided dice together.
- The history is kept only in this browser (the latest 30 rolls). It doesn’t carry over to other devices.
About the numbers and fairness
Each throw’s position, angle and force are picked with the browser’s cryptographic random numbers (crypto.getRandomValues), the dice are rolled with a physics simulation, and the face that ends up on top is read. The shapes match real dice (the 10-sided die is a pentagonal trapezohedron), so every face comes up about equally often. A die that comes to rest tilted is nudged a little so it settles again. As with a real d4, the 4-sided die is read by the number next to its top vertex.
When you roll two dice, 7 is the most likely total and 2 and 12 are the least likely (7 comes up in 6 of the 36 combinations, 2 and 12 in just 1). Roll a number of times and, just like real dice, the totals cluster around the middle.
FAQ
Answers to common questions before you start.
Are my rolls sent anywhere?
No. The dice run only inside the browser on your device, and your rolls and history are never sent to a server.
Is it really random?
Yes. The position, angle and force of each throw are picked with the browser’s cryptographic random numbers (crypto.getRandomValues), and the face that lands on top is read as is. The shapes match real dice, so every face comes up about equally often.
How many dice can I roll at once?
From 1 to 100. Pick the number with the “Number of dice” slider. With two or more dice, the total is shown, and with 11 or more, the count for each face too.
Can I roll dice other than 6-sided ones?
Under “Sides”, choose 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 20-sided. 6-sided dice show pips; the others show numbers.
Can I look back at earlier rolls?
“Past rolls” keeps up to 30 rolls, newest first, with each die’s number and the total. To erase them, press “Clear history”.
Can I turn off the rolling animation?
If “Reduce motion” is turned on in your device’s settings, the result appears right away without rolling. In that case, the values are decided directly with cryptographic random numbers.
Will my settings still be there next time?
Yes. The number of dice, sides, sound effects and past rolls are saved in this browser.
There’s no sound.
Sound effects start off. Turn them on with the speaker button at the top right of the dice. On iPhone, there may be no sound while the silent switch is on.
I can’t go full screen on iPhone.
Safari on iPhone can’t show a page in true full screen. The full screen button hides the header and other parts and fills the screen with just the dice.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up and no ads.
